There’s something most folks love about images of fishermen. Just a guy (with ball cap firmly planted) his boat, a fishing rod. It’s likely early in the morning and the lake is still. The sunlight is just starting to warm up the water and shoreline, and sparkle on the little waves rippling from behind his boat; its motor is humming and blurping. And then the quick reach and flip of his arm and wrist, the ‘whhhirrrrr’ as the line is cast then ‘plop’ as the bait and hook hits water. And then the wait. Quiet. Easy. Good.
